[新聞] Wii NTSC-J cut pins, you can't MOD it any more pins, MOD, Wii, cut

It is a latest news from a shop in 188.  The latest lots of Wii NTSC-J can't be modded.  Why?  It's because 3-pins are physically cut from a surface-mounted IC.  There are still some Wii NTSC-J unaffected in 188 and Golden, but price will go up soon once this news spreads out and everyone is struggling to be the last one to have it.  So hurry if you have not gotten one yourself yet.  Of course, if you only play legitimate games, then it doesn't bother you anyway.

Luckily, Wii NTSC-U is not affected yet.

I just heard no Pin-3 solder point in new board of wii. For wiikey, it's more hard to solder. But it doesn't affect some 5 pins mod chip such as cyclowiz v2 and wi-ic.

Now missing THREE pins in IC !? Really?

我托朋友晌美國買o個部美版, 早兩日買既
同埋今日又買左部
都係仲有o個三隻腳的.

分別晌SF同LA既EBGames度買到.

The latest lot of USA version (arrived at HK this Tuesday) is still using the old board.  The next lot may not.  The currenct market price of a Wii NTSC-U is $2800, just the base console, not MOD.
